Internship Gateway

If it is of interest to you, once every 5 weeks we hold an introduction to internships over an eight day period.
During this period you will take part in all aspects of a hectic auction week. This will include gallery preparation, viewing assistance, client liaison, clerking, telephone bid operation, live Internet bidding and general administration giving you an insight into the day-to-day processes and events.  Candidates are expected to work on a full-time basis for the whole eight days.

Six Week Internship

Unfortunately only a small amount of six week internships are available during the year but it offers the successful applicant an opportunity to gain a wide experience in all McTear’s departments. With the chance to work either part-time or full-time, graduates will be able to have practical involvement in various departments including Pictures, Asian Works of Art, Jewellery, Ceramics & Glass, Silver and Whisky. This aims to provide graduates with the best possible experience of working life in a leading auction house.
