May is the Month for Whisky...

The whisky department in McTear's has provided much excitement this month. After a variety of rare and some never-before seen bottles arrived on our premises, the 2nd of May Rare & Collectable Whisky, Wine & Port auction is one that is sure to provoke a lot of interest and is not to be missed.

Our May auction will feature a range of the famous black label Cadenhead's bottlings. In particular are:

16 year old Cardow Lot 900

1964 North Port Lot 881

1964 St Magdalene Lot 869

We are also lucky to have on sale a number of Rare Malt bottlings including:

Hillside 1970 Lot 668

Rosebank 1979 Lot 680

We are also fortunate to offer in this Jubilee year a rare example of Christopher’s 25 year old Macallan, originally bottled for the 1977 Silver Jubilee.
